Welcome Ruth!

Matthews McCrea Elliott is proud to introduce our newest associate – Ruth Preston.  Called to the bar in 2011, Ruth will be practicing primarily in family law.  Ruth earned her law degree from Dalhousie University and has a degree in Education from Memorial University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto.

Having worked as a social worker, Ruth brings to her practice an understanding of the complexity of interactions between families, particularly in times of turmoil and strife.

In her practice, Ruth’s focus is to help her clients resolve their conflicts by focusing on their goals and striving to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Ruth is married, has one child and has called Fredericton home for over 15 years.
